Scripture: Ephesians 2:11–20

Imagine This…

Imagine a family gathering where everyone is in the same house, but no one is really at the same table. People stay with the people they already know. Conversations remain safe. Old assumptions quietly shape who feels near and who feels far.

That can happen in a church too.

What Is There to Learn?

     
  1. Christ Brings the Far Near.
    The gospel does not leave people categorized as insiders and outsiders. In Christ, those who were far off are brought near by His blood.

  2. Christ Breaks Down Hostility.
    Jesus does not merely ask us to be nicer. He destroys the dividing wall that gives hostility permission to live among His people.

  3. Christ Builds a New Family.
    The church is not a collection of similar people. It is a new household, built on Christ, where grace teaches us how to belong to one another.

Bold Steps of Faith

Ask God to show you one barrier you may be quietly rebuilding. Then take one step toward someone you may naturally overlook, avoid, or misunderstand.
