Sending — Living on Mission Every Day

December 7, 2025

Sent Where You Stand

When Jesus said, “Go and make disciples,” He wasn’t speaking only to missionaries—He was commissioning every believer to carry His hope into their everyday world.

Your home, your workplace, your relationships—they are your kingdom platform. You don’t have to cross an ocean to live sent; you simply cross the street, the hallway, or the break room with gospel intentionality.

Core Concept

To be sent is to see every moment as sacred and every conversation as an opportunity for Christ to be known. Maturity culminates in mission—disciples who go out to ignite hope where they live, work, and play.

Scriptural Anchors

“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” — John 20:21

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” — Matthew 28:19–20

“You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8

Why It Matters

Mission over Maintenance – The Church isn’t called to stay safe but to step out.

Presence over Platform – Influence starts with faithfulness where you are.

Hope over Fear – God sends us not with anxiety, but with His authority and presence.

Next Steps & Challenge

Personal Practice: “Everyday Ambassador”

This week, identify one person in your daily routine who needs encouragement or prayer. Ask God for an open door to share His hope.

Community Connection: “Live Sent”

Invite your community group to pray over the neighborhoods, workplaces, and schools you represent. Bless them in Jesus’ name.

Scripture-in-Action  Memorize Matthew 28:19–20. Let its promise echo in your steps: “I am with you always.”

Final Thought

We seek to glorify God and make disciples by igniting the enduring hope of Jesus—and that hope doesn’t stay in the church; it moves through us. As we go, may every conversation, workplace, and neighborhood become a spark that lights the way for others to know Him.
