Walking Worthy Together

Walking Worthy Together
April 28th, 2026
There’s a moment in every meaningful relationship where things shift.
It moves from:
“I’m here for you” …
to
“I want something for you.”
Not control / Not pressure.
But care that’s strong enough to speak.
Paul describes it this way:
“Encouraging, comforting, and urging you…”
Three movements:
- Encouraging what’s good
- Comforting what’s hard
- Urging what’s next
This is where many people hesitate.
We’re comfortable listening.
We’re less comfortable leading.
Because speaking into someone’s life feels risky.
What if they pull away? What if I say it wrong?
But silence can be just as costly as harshness.
Real love doesn’t just sit with someone.
It moves them toward who God is calling them to become.
Not aggressively. / Not awkwardly.
But clearly.
Carefully.
Courageously.
This week:
- Call out something specific you see God doing in someone.
- Ask a question that invites deeper reflection.
- Speak one truth that helps someone take a next step.
Questions:
- When has someone’s encouragement or
challenge helped you grow? - What holds you back from speaking
into someone’s life? - Who might need both your presence
and your guidance right now? - What would it look like to speak
truth with both clarity and care?
Identity Line:
Because God is actively shaping us, we walk with others in ways that encourage, strengthen, and call them forward in Christ.
In Christ,
Pastor Brad.
